Overview
North-South

The track starts at Hårsjö, a few kilometers west of Vittsjö, along the coast to coast track. It continues south through the forests in northern Skåne. It passes the popular area Vedema north of Hässleholm. In  Hässleholm  is a youth hostel at Hässleholmsgården, an old estate. From Hässleholm do one continue on the ridge at Tormestorp, then do the track take west and continue south through the forest on the  Linderödsridge. Through the recreation area Fulltofta between Höör and Hörby,  before one enter the village Hörby. Fulltofta contain many ancient remnants, the trail pass a few of them. From Hörby do the open landscape start. The track goes along Ringsjön, then in the valley Pinedalen. The short valley Rövarekulan  north of Löberöd is worth a visit by itself. The view from the valley at Hjularöd down to Harlösa is farreaching. Here are stonebridges from the 18th century. After Harlösa do one walk on a railway embankment, nowadays without rails. One pass the lake Krankesjön, famous for the many birds. Walk up in the bird watching tower and enjoy the view. The trail is then along the border of military exercise fields, also pasture land for many free-going cows. At Torna-Hällestad is a connection with Skrylle, the closest recreation place for the people of Lund. North of Torna-Hällestad is a nature reserve with "funny" shaped beeches. Have a look at the runa stones on the church in Torna-Hällestad. One continue south to the Romeleridge. The small ridges and open areas down to Knivsås make the walk enjoyable. Take a bath in the former stone-pit at Knivsås (beware, it is deep!). At Ugglarp is an ancient grave field. On the Romeleridge is a youth hostel. Further south, at Häckeberga, are several nature reserves.

The track split in two, one part to the west  towards Malmö, the other one south towards Ystad. It is also possible to make a one day tour around Häckeberga. This is mainly through forests, and is a popular area. It is not unlikely to meet roedeer, elk, or other animals. I.e. if you do not make to much noise. The part towards Ystad continue first east through the Romele golfcourt to Sövde. Here one can fish and swim in the Sövdelake, you need to buy a fishing permit for the fishing. The track turn south through the forest between four lakes, before it enter the open landscape north of the castle Krageholm. The last part between Raftarp/Snogeholm and Ystad have no windshelter. Have a coffee break at Bjersjöholm castle, and walk around in the old parts of Ystad.

The track towards Malmö continue in the open landscape north of the Sturup airport, there is a connection down to the airport, then through the forest at Eksholmssjön. The track cross road 108 west of Holmeja, pass north of the lake Yddingesjön. Make a break and study the geese around the lake. Then one continue at the border to a golf court, and end in Torup. Around Torup is a recreation area for walking, jogging, and cycling. The park around the castle is worth a visit. A track goes south through the forest to Svedala.
