Nuolja
From Nuolja has one a far reaching view. The slope is lush.
Thinking first to go up along the creek Ridonjira, but at the receptiot
it was said it
there was plenty of water in the creek, and muddy path.
One can also go up via the ski slope. We choose to take the
cable car up.
Ticket machine is broken, get a handwritten note as
round-trip ticket.
Is almost dropping the backpack when we get up.
It sways gently in the breeze.
Spring is late, the slope is not as lush as I recall.
Flower meadows as I remember has not started yet.
Then was it yellow of globeflower.
Good thing we took the cable car.
The journey takes twenty minutes.
Up there is
Aurora sky station
with cafe and views.
Roams around the mountain.
Enjoying the view.
A lot of flowers.
Find the small rhododendron Lapland Rosebay.
Carpets with moss heather.
Mountain avens and mountain green.
An ermine and a lemming.
Large snowfields remain.
Takes a sausage in the café.
Nice views of the Torne Träsk, Lapporten and the mountains in the south.
Go down again.
Sways uncomfortably.
Especially when it stops to drop off and on people.
Back we have time to eat home cooking dinner
"Husmansmiddag" in Storkällaren.
Late, mostly chewy pieces of meat remain.
Stay up to see the midnight sun.
