Day3: 22 August, Ritsem - Spietjaujåkkå, 13 km

The boat across Akkajaure to Änonjalme, leave already at 7.15. An early morning. It takes 20 minutes, and cost 55 SEK. After a short walk is the Akka hut in front of us. We eat a late breakfast outside the hut. We leave the hut and continue on Padjelantaleden to the bridge at Vuojatätno, a few kilometers away. The peaks of the Akka mountain in the east are not visible behind the clouds. We take a break on the middle of the bridge, studying the water that rush towards the lake. The track continue mainly through a sparse mountain birch forest to the border of Sarek. The sun break temporarily through the clouds. The leaves on the birches and the brooks on Akka glisten. Cloud remnants embrace the peaks of Akka. In the south is the mountain Kisuris (1664m) appearing. We pass the bridge of Sjnuftjutisjåkkå at five. The rapids, with Kisuris as background, creates a nice scenery. At the shore of Spietjaujåkkå, close to the bridge, is an open area. Here we put up our tent. Dark clouds haved creeped up. When we take our evening bath, do the heaven open up. The rain is coming down in buckets. We escape to the tent. The dinner is prepared in the tent.
